Reprint & Archives Sets

This sets are reprints of the original sets.

1951 Bowman Reprint set consists of 324 cards measuring 2-3/16" by 3¼". The set was reprinted in 1986 by the Card Collector's Company and say "REPRINT 1986 C.C.C." on the bottom of the back of the card.

The 1953 Bowman Reprint card set was printed in 1983 and issued two separate baseball sets, one featured the major stars of the day and was in color 160 cards, while the other featured lesser known players and was in black and white 64 cards. 1953 Bowman was the first modern set that contained actual color player photographs. These cards measure 2-1/2 x 3-3/4(inches) and have only the player photo on the front, no name, team or autograph facsimile, simply the player photo. The backs of these cards feature a more baseball card trend with player stats and biography info.
